You may wish to consider a career change or now wish to return back to work or you might be thinking about working in Mental Health, Acquired Brain Injury, Older Adults or Substance Misuse and are looking for opportunities.

We recognise the contribution that well trained and developed staff make to the success of Croftlands and a lot of resources, both in terms of time and money, are invested in the development of our staff. We provide a comprehensive training programme which includes NVQ level 2 and 3 in care work and the National Certificate in Mental Health. Many posts within Croftlands do not need previous skills and experience in care and support work or specialised understanding of the client groups we work with. You may wish to work as a relief worker, choosing shifts that suit your personal circumstances, or apply for a part time post rather than the
commitment of full time hours.

Should you wish to join Croftlands Trust, your development within Croftlands begins with the orientation pack that you will complete with the support of your manager and other members of staff. The pack aims to help you to settle in during your early days of employment and should
be completed within your first week to ensure that you know all you need to know to begin your job. We include an evaluation form and tick sheet with the pack which we would value any comments that you may have. When you return the evaluation form and tick sheet it also confirms that you have completed the orientation process. After completing the orientation pack you will move on to the induction pack. This pack contains a lot of useful and vital information including details of Croftlands’ policies and procedures and the standards that you need to work to in your role within the Trust. When you have completed the workbook over a 12-week period you should have gained much of the knowledge necessary to be a valuable member of the team. Your manager will identify further development needs with you during supervision and appraisal
